MONTGOMERY FORD BANTAM B REP GIRLS HEADING INTO SECOND ROUND OF PLAYDOWNS
The past two weeks the girls battled 4 games in a round robin best 2 out of 4 teams advanced to second round.
The first battle was against saugeen shores, many shots fired on the saugeen shores goalie saw Kincardine come out on top 3-1.
On a sunday afternoon high noon with rivelry Walkerton was leading 2-0, Kincardine Hailey Allen came back with 2 high net shots tieing the game 2-2, unfortunately Walkerton was power struck with 2 more goals winning against Kincardine 4-2.
Game 3 mid week against Ayton, Kincardine came on very strong winning with a high score 7-0.
The last game against Mildmay, Kincardine was having a hard time scoring against Mildmay's goalie, Mildmay snuck in a goal leading 1-0, Kincardine with many shots finally scored winning 2-1.
The 2nd round consists of 4 teams out of 10 , now leaving Walkerton , Markdale , Bruce Peninsula and Kincardine to complete 3 games each against each other in the second round of playdowns to be completed by March 12th, 2 out of 4 teams will advanced into the all Ontario Provincials in Brampton.
The team will also be attending the WOAA league tournament Mar 2-4th in Wiarton thru out playdowns
